Award-winning Interior Designer, Laura Stephens and Rug Studio, Bombay Sprout have collaborated to bring us a bespoke collection of hand-woven jute rugs that celebrate the heritage of pattern. Created both sustainably and respectfully by artisans and craftsmen in Northern India, the beautiful capsule collection of five designs, Skye, Alys, Pearl, Joni, and Tessa, is a joyful juxtaposition of colour, and feature decorative borders inspired by 19th-century antique ribbons sourced by the designers.

From feminine pinks and sky blue waves, to timeless colourful stripes and whimsical botanical vines, these rugs work seamlessly in harmony in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

“As our lives are wonderfully busy, and our houses are full of friends and family, nothing can be too precious. Our aspiration with this collection was to ensure that our rugs were beautiful, practical, and durable to make our homes sing.”

Laura and Zara’s shared passion for eclectic interiors and design permeates through this collection, reflecting their deep understanding of the versatility, elegance and durability needed from a rug.

Each rug has been meticulously crafted to complement any design scheme, elevating the mood of spaces such as the living room, staircase, and kitchen, without feeling too precious.

The core principle of this collection is the fusion of beauty and practicality for everyday life; they are eminently liveable pieces designed to stand the test of time and to be enjoyed in clients and customers' bustling homes who share a love of beautiful things.
