These beautiful quilts are hand made in the Sindh region of Pakistan. The quilts are made by women from rural villages, nomadic tribes and settled towns. In the villages these quilts were an important part of a girls dowry and owning many of these quilts was a measure of ones wealth in the rural areas.
Each one is completely unique.
They vary in age and are around 40 to 50 years old. They are quite heavy and are perfect for a bed, or throwing over a sofa.
